Plant for Pittville Competition

At last, spring has arrived! To celebrate this, and also to participate (informally) in Cheltenham in Bloom, we are holding a competition. There are few simple rules!

1. To enter, you need to live or work within the Pittville area (this includes St Pauls)

2. You can plant a colourful display of flowering plants in EITHER

a plant pot with dimensions between 16”/40cm and 24”/60cm wide, of any height

OR in any window/balcony trough OR in a hanging basket

3. It must be sited in Pittville, at your home or business, to be viewed from the road.

All entries will be judged between 1 and 10 June 2010.    

There will be three prizes – 1^st  2^nd and 3^rd!

If you have more than one display at your house or business, please label your entry “Plant for Pittville” so that we know which one to judge.

If you’d like to enter the competition, please deliver (or send) your name and street address, with the fee 50p per entry, to Judie Hodsdon, 49 Pittville Crescent Lane, Cheltenham, GL52 2RA.

The winners will be announced on the web site within a week after the competition judging.
